2006 Day 27
Key Data
Days Free 27
(50 to go) Weight 96kg (Progress 4 KG 8kg
to go)
Report from
Peter
Today I walked
5km, that I was able to exercise after a 20km ride the day before,
hopefully shows the gout is gone. I am left with an outbreak of
pimples on my chest and stomach that I acquired from the numerous
tablets that I was taking for the gout attacks, or my kidneys were
upset by the amount of gout it had to displace suddenly. its going
now.
The last
couple of days I have been feeling nervous, and insecure. Self
doubts occasionally arise, so I think of other times when I have
succeeded. The negative thoughts go away. but they do return. I get
headaches in the afternoon. I put this down to detoxing, so I drink
lots of water and a Panadol if its uncomfortable enough.
Report Day 40
Peter's weight has stabilised despite
lack of alcohol. Peter's health that was challenging at the start
has not improved and today Peter had some alcohol. 3 Middies
of Stout. Is this the end of his alcohol free program.
Day 77
Peter made it to day 77 with not more
alcohol however he was not able to make his weight goal.
Summary and Comments.
This was a great effort by Peter based
mainly on will power. Peter did set and document the goal but
did no visualisation or now goal installation. Peter learned
also learned how difficult it is to tackle two challenging goals
simultaneously. Peter has decide to focus on improving his health
and working out a lifestyle plan that will support significant
weight reduction.
August 1 2006
Peter has renewed enthusiasm to reach
a health weight. Peter also has the belief that he will do it.
Belief of success will open up doors and help Peter recognise
opportunities when they come to him.
August 18 2006
Peter is now making significant
progress. His weight is has reached 93kg. He is
undertaking significant physical work and drinking lots of water.
It is interesting to note how good water tastes when you have
undertaken physical activity. It is almost paradoxical that
people that are working hard are less likely to become dehydrated
than someone in a sedentary job because the hard physical worker is
likely to drink more water. Dehydration can also be confused
for hunger so that people that are slightly dehydrated are more
prone to put on weight because they will eat food that they don't
need when what they really need is calorie free water.
September 9 2006
Peter has continued his progress. Now
down to 90.5 kg. Still working hard.
October 10 2006
Peter is getting huge rewards for his
commitment. He has reach 85kg. Because of his hard work
his body balance between fat and muscle has improved.
